WE SERVE TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE SECOND CHANCES ARE AVAILABLE AND NEW TOMORROWS ARE POSSIBLE BY PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENHANCEMENT OF COMMUNITY LIFE.

Rev. Marilyn Parker-Jeffries is the founder of Great Expectation Ministries and the Board President. After work for 30 years in the Juvenile Justice System she answered God's call to plant a church in the city of Lorain. God placed this new ministry in the heart of am impoverishes community within the city. The founder is a firm believer that the church of the 21st Century must look to the model that was presented by the 1st Century Church. The church should work to address the needs people on the margins of society and provide a way for them to uncover the untapped treasure that resides on the inside of them.
